How to convert MBOX Emails to PDF Online
- Add the mailbox. Drag the .mbox file onto the box at the top of this page, or click Choose MBOX File. Gmail Takeout and Thunderbird files without an extension are accepted too, up to 25 MB.
- Click Convert to PDF. The page splits the mailbox into single emails on your computer and converts the first 25, one by one, with a progress bar. You can cancel at any time.
- Save the ZIP. A ZIP file with one PDF per email downloads automatically, named after the mailbox. Click Convert another file to repeat.
- One MBOX file per conversion, 25 MB maximum, first 25 emails converted.
- Attachments are listed in each PDF, not embedded.
- Formatting, inline images and links are preserved; encrypted (S/MIME) messages cannot be converted online.
The online converter is a small service we run. Your mailbox file never leaves your browser as a whole: the page splits it into single emails on your computer and sends each one over HTTPS, where it is converted in memory and the PDF is returned.
Nothing is stored after each conversion completes, nothing is read by anyone, and nothing is used for anything else.
