How to convert an EML file to Word online
- Add the file. Drag the .eml onto the box at the top of this page, or click Choose EML File. Only .eml files are accepted, up to 4 MB.
- Click Convert to Word. The header block is placed in a table, the message body becomes editable Word text with its tables and inline images, and attachments are listed at the end.
- Save the document. It downloads automatically and a Download Word button appears in case your browser blocked it. Open it in Word, LibreOffice, Google Docs or Pages.
- One email per conversion, 4 MB maximum.
- Output is .docx only; attachments are listed, not saved as files.
- Formatting, tables and inline images are preserved; encrypted (S/MIME) messages cannot be converted online.
